About vIVEKA
Hi! I’m Viveka
I built a global personal brand, wrote bestselling books, led and exited a tech and training company, and spoke on stages around the world. My work has been covered in Forbes, Fast Company, CNN, Inc., and Entrepreneur.
And still. I got to the place many accomplished women know. Where the work is good but the fit is off. Where success is real but something is missing. Where the next thing matters more than the current thing.
So I walked away. From a company I built. From a brand I'd grown. From a chapter that was successful but no longer mine.
That's the version of "starting over" I actually know. Not from zero. From a place of having built something real and choosing to build something better.
who i work with …
My clients are women founders at that same inflection point. Coaches, consultants, trainers, advisors, authors, speakers. Women with twenty-plus years of real expertise whose visibility isn't working the way their credentials should demand.
Some came from corporate. Some built independently from the start. Some are years into a business that works but hasn't grown into what it could be. The situation varies. The core problem is almost always the same.
Their expertise is not the issue. Their positioning is. The infrastructure that turns what they know into what people find, follow, and hire them for — that's what's missing.
They want income, impact, authority, and a business that runs without becoming a full-time content manager or tech firefighter. That's exactly what I help them build.
how we work together…
Most of my clients have tried pieces of this before. A LinkedIn course. A branding exercise. A generic business coach. What they haven't found is a place where positioning, visibility, AI fluency, and business strategy work together as a system instead of four separate problems to solve one at a time.
That's what I build with them.
The starting point for most women is VIOS — the Visibility Infrastructure OS. It's an AI-powered system that takes twenty-plus years of expertise and turns it into the core assets a visible authority business runs on: clear positioning, a content strategy, a revenue roadmap. Most women complete it in under 90 minutes and leave with more clarity than six months of figuring it out alone produced.
From there, the work deepens depending on what she needs. The Women's Technology Integration Collaborative is where women implement in community — with ongoing support, live sessions, and a room full of peers who are building the same thing. Private coaching through the Authority Accelerator or Authority Mastery is for women who want to move faster, with direct access and a customized path.
The through-line across all of it is the same: your expertise is already there. The infrastructure around it is what we build.
what my work has taught me
I firmly believe that women's words and wisdom will change the world.
For years I built businesses at the intersection of visibility, technology, training, and strategy. I ran a successful LinkedIn training company, co-founded a software company, worked with senior leaders and Fortune 500 teams, and built a brand that opened doors around the world.
That experience taught me something I now see again and again in the women I work with: deep expertise does not automatically become traction. Experience does not automatically become a business.
And smart women do not need more noise. They need a clearer path.
That is why my work sits at the intersection of business strategy, visible authority, and practical tech fluency. I advise women on how to package, position, and grow what they already know in today's digital business environment.
How I Got Here
I didn't arrive at this work from the outside looking in. I built the companies, wrote the books, spoke on the stages, and then walked away from one chapter to build something more aligned. Here's the short version.
LinkedIn Early Adopter
Joined LinkedIn when it had fewer than 500,000 users. Started studying the platform before it was a content platform — back when it was essentially a digital Rolodex. That early start turned into twenty-one years of building on it, writing about it, and teaching it.
Founded Linked Into Business
One of the first LinkedIn training and consulting firms in existence. Spent the next decade working with executives, sales teams, and individual professionals on LinkedIn strategy — long before LinkedIn Marketing was a recognized field.
Bestselling Author — 8 Books
LinkedIn Marketing: An Hour a Day — still the bestselling LinkedIn book — was the first. Seven more followed, including LinkedIn Learning and Lynda.com courses LinkedIn asked me to create. Inc. Magazine listed it as a must-read. The writing compounds over time the way good positioning does.
Co-Founded Vengreso
Built Vengreso from the ground up into one of the world's largest digital sales transformation companies — training sales teams at Fortune 500 companies on social selling, LinkedIn, and digital prospecting. Scaled from a consulting firm to an enterprise SaaS company.
Exited Vengreso
When Vengreso pivoted to productivity software, I made the decision most people said they would make and then didn't: I walked away from a company I'd built. Not because it failed — it hadn't. Because it was no longer mine in the way that mattered. That decision is the lived experience behind everything I do now.
Founded Beyond the Dreamboard — Created VIOS
Built Beyond the Dreamboard and the Visibility Infrastructure OS — a diagnostic system that turns decades of expertise into a documented visibility strategy. Launched the Women's Technology Integration Collaborative. Building exactly the kind of authority business I teach, with the same tools and the same system.
A Little About Me…
I’m Canadian 🇨🇦 ! (And American 🇺🇸)
I became a hang glider pilot at 15 AND it was my 55-yr old (at the time) dad who got me into it!
I got my Master’s in Cultural Studies and started my Ph.D. in Women’s Studies (until my advisor told me my lack of ability to deal with University politics meant I didn’t have much of a future.)
I wrote my first (unpublished) sci-fi novel at 17, and was first published at 45
I was born a Countess (until I married my husband - thanks Alan)
I own a home in Colorado and Costa Rica (Blue Zone, Baby!)
I married at 50 for the first time (even though a previous boss said I was more likely to get hit by lightning 🥹. Eff YOU Doug!)
I literally COULD do underwater basket weaving. (My mom taught me how to weave baskets and was pretty renowned for it in her later years + scuba diving.)
